This week US networks reveal their “Upfronts” -the Fall schedules for 2010.
It is the equivalent of Australian networks having annual programme launches at the end of the year, except that they commit shows to timeslots for advertisers (and they have weeded out more lemons than our networks).
The Hollywood Reporter has leaked the first of them -NBC’s, after a journo caught the technical rehearsal at a swanky Hilton Hotel.
It claims NBC will have an action-adventure Monday night, a crime drama Wednesday and an all-comedy Thursday. Despite expectations, NBC will not launch a new comedy block.
Adding Love Bites shifts Parks & Recreation to midseason.
Mondays:
8 P.M. Chuck
9 P.M. The Event
10 P.M Chase
Tuesdays:
8-10 P.M. Biggest Loser
10 P.M. Parenthood
Wednesdays:
8 P.M. Undercovers
9 P.M. Law & Order: SVU
10 P.M. Law & Order: Los Angeles
Thursdays:

The NBC Upfronts presentation will begin with a clip of Alec Baldwin as Jack Donaghy, throwing to NBC entertainment chairman Jeff Gaspin. Tina Fey will also appear.
More Upfronts will be announced this week.
